Today is the Feast of Blessed Edmund Rice. It is also thirty years since the Beatification of Blessed Edmund in Rome by the late Pope John Paul II. MTU Regional SciFest Fair 2026

South Munster Track and Field Championships Well done to all students who competed at the second day of the South Munster Track & Field Championships at MTU Cork yesterday. There were fine CBC performances on display throughout the day, winning many medals across multiple events. South Munster Track and Field Championship
Well done to Fifth Years Dean Mangan Williams, Darren O'Connell and Danny Lynch on winning medals in their respective events at Tuesday's South Munster Track and Field Championships at MTU Cork. Rowing Ireland Schools Regatta 2026
Congratulations to the CBC Rowing Team on their outstanding performance at the Rowing Ireland Schools Regatta 2026 last Sunday. The crews achieved superb results on the day, with 10 boats racing with 25 students involved. The team placed first in Junior 16 Double Scull and Junior 14 Double Scull categories. U14 Rugby Success
Congratulations to our U14 Rugby team who successfully defended the Bill Mulcahy Cup this week. The team enjoyed a 22-19 victory over St Munchin's College on the 4G Pitch at Lansdowne. This was a fantastic way to finish our rugby season and a great reward for all of the hard work the players put in throughout the year.
