Spirituality, Care and Christian Values
Christian Brothers College is committed to the transmission of Catholic values that inform every relationship in the college.
These relationships are defined by a culture of respect; respect for oneself and respect for others, and it is these principles that underpin the positive school experience and unparalleled success our students enjoy.

This value system is lived daily through the embedding of five key elements at the heart of the Edmund Rice Schools Trust Charter.
-
Nurturing faith, Christian Spirituality and Gospel values
-
Promoting partnership in the college community
-
Excelling in teaching and learning
-
Creating a caring school community
-
Inspiring transformational leadership
The College Chaplain is available to all pupils for personal spiritual guidance.
Students take part in liturgical services and follow the Church celebrations throughout the year, including the Feast Day of Blessed Edmund Rice on 5 May.
There is a uniqueness to the Christians atmosphere and this is due in no small measure to our Catholic heritage.
We are committed to working in partnership with parents to nurture resilient, value-driven, self-reliant, young people who can look to the future with confidence.

Oratory
Christians boasts a state-of-the-art oratory - designed by the renowned sculptor Fergus Costello. Positioned on the first floor of the main Christians campus the oratory offers students and teachers a place of solitude and tranquility in which to pray and retreat from their busy schedules.
The oratory is distinguished by features of bog oak and ornate wood carvings symbolizing Christian imagery - while the tabernacle is remarkable in artistry. Each class is taken by it's Religion teacher to the oratory on a weekly basis for prayer and meditation.
