Congratulations to Rory Mc Donnell and Sam Farrell (First Year), who were recently crowned Munster Regional Champions in debating. Rory was also awarded Best First Year Debater.  Three CBC junior teams competed in the competition, which comprised three preliminary rounds followed by a final. Well done to all CBC participants, with every debater qualifying for the National Final in UCD this April.

Congratulations to Luke Kiely from the Leaving Cert Class of 2025 who has been awarded an academic entrance scholarship to University College Dublin. Luke will be presented with his award at a special ceremony next month.

Well done to our U19s, who progressed to the Dr Tony O'Neill Munster Cup Final after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over an excellent St Paul's Community College in the semi-final today. This is the first time the college has reached the Senior Munster Final.

A proud moment for Young Scientist participants, Muhammad Raed Naseer and Cathal Lyons, who recently received a letter from the Tánaiste congratulating them on their outstanding project, Launching Ireland's Future: Astronomy for the Leaving Certificate . It is a wonderful acknowledgement of the students' hard work throughout the process.

Congratulations to past pupils Charlie O'Shea and Christopher Barrett on their selection to the Ireland U20 Six Nations squad.  Both Charlie and Chris featured in Ireland's impressive 29-10 victory over Italy last Saturday, as preparations continue ahead of the Six Nations campaign.  We wish them continued success with the Irish U20 squad.

Well done to our U19 soccer squad, who earned an impressive 3-2 victory over a strong Ardscoil na Mara side in Tramore today. A superb hat-trick from Darragh Morley secured the win and saw CBC reach the Senior Munster Semi-Final for the first time.
