Gráinne O'Neill Memorial Legal Essay Competition

Congratulations to Fourth Year CBC students Kevin McCarthy, Matias Ó Conaill, Michael Keane and Oscar de Róiste, who have been shortlisted for the Gráinne O’Neill Memorial Legal Essay Competition award.

Students were asked to submit a 1,500-word essay examining the topic of challenges in online freedom of speech. Regional judging by local solicitors is now over, and Kevin, Matias, Michael and Oscar will now go forward to the national round at Blackhall Place, Dublin in May.

This final round, which will be followed by a celebratory ceremony, will be facilitated by the Law Society of Ireland.
