The Plough and the Stars

Congratulations to all our cast, crew and support team from Transition Year whose final performance of 'The Plough and the Stars' took place last night. We were proud of every student whose hard work and dedication helped to bring Sean O’ Casey’s play to life, from our actors to our set and programme designers. We are grateful as always for the involvement of our teachers and wish especially to thank Directors Mr Trevor Hussey and Ms Eileen Tarrant for all their work.

In February 1926, the first performance of ’The Plough...' took place in the Abbey Theatre. We were delighted to be part of the Centenary celebrations to mark this important piece of Irish drama. Sincere thanks also to the Abbey and to the Sean O’ Casey Estate for their wonderful support and good wishes.
