Social Justice and Advocacy Group Visit to Geneva

Well done to Fifth Year student ambassadors Cathal Lyons, Conor O'Loughlin and Leon O'Connell who represented CBC in Geneva last week on a social justice and advocacy trip. The delegation visited the Red Cross Museum learning about humanitarian aid in areas that have suffered through such conflicts and genocides. They also attended a session of the Human Rights Council at the UN. This was followed by a visit to the Edmund Rice International Offices where the students engaged in reflective discussions with other school ambassadors. Many thanks to all involved in facilitating an enlightening trip with special thanks to Mr Robert Bevan for accompanying the students.
