Science Week

We had a number of events over science week for the students to participate in and enjoy. First and second years submitted photos for a Science week Photo Competition.

The aim of this competition was to allow students to consider the science involved in everyday objects and in nature. We also wanted them to appreciate the range of careers and opportunities available based on STEM subjects. The topics included:

1. Science in nature

2. Energy supply

3. Solutions for Health and Healing

4. Chemistry in Action

5. Technology in our Lives

6. Earth and Space

The winners are as follows:

1A27 - Harry Law Boland, 1A28 - Eoin Banim, 1A29 - Charlie Spillane, 1A30 - Ibrahim Naseer, 1A31 - Killian O'Loughlin.

2nd Yr Winners- Paul McCarthy, Federico Mottareale, Ruairi Butler, Culainn Buckley and Ryan Smith.
