Edmund Rice International Social Justice Trip

Our Edmund Rice International Youth Ambassadors, Joshua O' Neill, Charlie Liang and Isaac Scallan-Cotter, having been spending the past few days in Geneva. They had the privilege of attending a live session of the Human Rights Council at the United Nations HQ with staff and students from Edmund Rice schools from Belfast, Limerick and Tramore. They also attended a side event from the Permanent Mission of the Holy See, where Vatican representatives discussed the need for debt forgiveness for developing countries. A trip to the Red Cross museum also provided a stark reminder of human rights violations that have, and continue to take place, around the world.
