2026 FAI Schools Dr Tony O'Neill National Senior Cup Champions

CBC School is immensely proud to celebrate a truly historic achievement — our Senior Soccer team has won the Dr Tony O Neill National Senior Soccer Cup for the very first time.

In what was an unforgettable final, the team faced a formidable Coláiste Bhaile Chláir side in a match that showcased everything great about school soccer: skill, determination, resilience, and heart. From the first whistle to the last, both teams competed with incredible intensity, and neither side could be separated after normal and extra time.

The drama continued into a penalty shootout, where our players showed exceptional composure under pressure. CBC held their nerve to secure a famous victory and etch their names into the history of the school.

This triumph is a testament to the dedication and commitment of the players, the guidance and leadership of the coaching team, led by Mr Stephen Hogan and the support from staff, students, and the families of the players.
